Letter To The Editor: Bernards Township Clear Choice

Dear Editor,

It is the clear choice to vote for candidates Jennifer Asay and Committee member Andrew McNally for Bernards Township Committee. They both have the experience and expertise to serve our community. By their extensive service to the community, they have demonstrated that they are the candidates focused on keeping Bernards Township a great place to live.

Because of their past service and experience, they are the candidates who are ready for taking on the important responsibilities required of committee members. They pledge to continue to be fiscally responsible while providing quality municipal services, and supporting the excellent quality of life offered in this town for all residents.

I moved to Bernards Township almost 30 years ago and raised a family here. I stay here because it is safe town, a place to enjoy time in the parks, and to be a part of an active and unique community. I have seen the town grow, change and actually get better over the years. In learning about Jennifer and Andrew in the course of their campaign, I am confident that as township committee members they will serve everyone in our town and continue to keep Bernards Township the great place it is known to be.

I don't know where the local Democrats running for the Bernards Township committee stand. Will they continue to support raising taxes, start incurring debt, continue to support destructive overdevelopment that we see on display in so many communities in New Jersey? Are they attending the township and other public meetings where key issues are being discussed with the public? I don’t see them present or contributing anything. I see nothing in their backgrounds to suggest that they have the necessary experience and expertise needed to serve us as a community.

Being on the township committee requires proven leadership, experience, expertise and understanding of the issues important to maintaining our town as one of the safest and best places to live in the entire United States.

Vote for Jennifer Asay and Andrew McNally - they are the best and only choice for Bernards Township.
