With the election coming up shortly I am writing this letter to urge voters to support Jennifer Asay and Andrew McNally for Bernards Township Committee. Both Jennifer and Andrew have the background and experience to understand the issues and make smart decisions for the good of our entire community.
Jennifer earned her MBA from the University of Chicago, is a strong fiscal conservative, and subscribes to the town's "pay as you go" philosophy. I have known Jennifer for many years through her volunteer work for the community which includes coaching youth sports, volunteering in our schools, and working with special needs children. Andrew is an attorney and has worked in the office of the Governor of NJ. His industry knowledge and contacts at the State will ensure that our concerns on pending State legislation and policies are heard at the State level. Both Andrew and Jennifer have served for years on the Bernards Township Planning Board, something I consider a prerequisite for Township Committee. Effective Township Committee leadership requires knowledge of NJ land use law.

As a 30-year resident of Bernards Township, a 9-year elected member of the Township Committee and a two term Mayor, I strongly endorse Asay and McNally for BernardsTownship Committee. They are eminently qualified candidates who will advocate for all residents of Bernards Township. Vote for Asay and McNally on November 2.
