Motorcycle Stolen, Vehicle Burglarized In Basking Ridge

Bernards Township Police continue to remind residents to keep vehicles locked and valuables out of sight.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A motorcycle and one vehicle was burglarized while parked in Bernards Township last week.

On June 12 between 11:45 a.m. and 6:40 p.m.: A motorcycle was stolen from the English Place in Society Hill. The motorcycle was a 2016 silver Yamaha XCR. The motorcycle was later recovered near the Society Hill retention pond and the motorcycles ignition was tampered with. Anyone with information should contact Det. Neiman at 908-204-3050.

On June 17 between 1:54 and 2:15 p.m.: A vehicle on Ramapo Drive was burglarized during the day. The 2012 Jeep Commander was entered and a tablet computer and a wallet were stolen. Anyone who may have information should contact Det Mark Neri 908-204-3051.

"The Bernards Township Police would like to continue to remind everyone to report suspicious activity
observed by calling 908-766-1122. Please keep vehicles locked and valuables out of sight. Pay particular
attention to suspicious activity at neighbor’s homes," Bernards Township Police state.
