Register 6 to 8 Year Olds for Equestrian Summer Camp ai LSS

Week long programs begin July 15, July 29, August 2, August 12

The Somerset County Park Commission Lord Stirling Stable will host the “Lil’ Pardners Summer Camp” for children age 6 to 8 years. The week-long camp will be held at the Stable, located at 256 South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge.

The “Lil’ Pardners” camp is scheduled Monday to Friday, July 15 to 19; July 29 to August 2; and August 12 to 16, 2019. Each camp day runs from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

‘Lil’ Pardners” will include a daily 45-minute riding lesson. Children will also learn basic pony care including fun facts about ponies and horses, experience hands-on grooming and tacking; and enjoy pony related games and activities.

Each week is limited to 4 campers. Fee is $300 for Somerset County residents and $450 for out of county.

Lord Stirling Stable offers a full complement of riding activities for riders of most ages and abilities. All riders are required to wear an ASTM/SEI approved equestrian helmet and boots.
