Ridge Girls Swim Continue Undefeated Run Against Bridgewater
The Ridge meet MVP's were Natalie Hillebrecht and Gabe Beverini.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ridge Girls swim team continued their winning streak with a decisive victory over Bridgewater on Jan. 2. The girls won the meet 104 - 66, winning all three relays and 6 of 8 individual events, in only their second victory against the strong Bridgewater squad.
The medley relay was won by the quartet of Giulia Beverini, Eszter Kiss, Emily Thompson and Kinga Kiss. Beverini won the 50 free and 100 back, with Emily Thompson claiming victory in the 200 IM and the 100 free. Further wins were claimed by Kinga Kiss in the 100 breast and Natalie Hillebrecht in a tight race in the 200 free.
The 200 free relay team of Maggie Luo, Sammie Oei, Hillebrecht and Thompson took first place, as did Eszter Kiss, Hillebrecht, Oei and Beverini in the 400 free, to close out the meet.

One the Boys side, Ridge battled hard but were not able to match the very strong Bridgewater team. The final score was 63 - 107.
Ridge won the 400 free relay with the quartet of Orion Wang, Kevin Cao, Jack Thompson and Nathan Lou. Thompson, Gabe Beverini, Mitch Ferraioli and Anurag Bhat took second place in the medley relay with Beverini, Cao, Bhat and Ferraioli taking second in the 200 free relay.

Bridgewater took victory in all of the individual races, with Ridge grabbing several second places, notably by Beverini in the 200 IM and 100 free, Thompson in the 100 back, Wang in the 500 free and Ferraioli in the 100 fly.
The Ridge meet MVP’s were Natalie Hillebrecht and Gabe Beverini. Ridge takes on Pingry away on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
