Ridge High School Cheer Win Somerset County Championship

This is the Cheerleading BLACK team's third in a row Somerset County Championship.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Ridge High School Cheerleading BLACK team claimed its third in a row Somerset County Championship at Montgomery High School on Wednesday. Ridge BLACK also took first place in 2019 and 2021. The 2020 championship was canceled due to COVID.

Ridge GREEN competed as an Exhibition team and turned in a great performance.

Both Ridge Cheer teams also took first place at the annual Spooktacular competition at North Hunterdon High School on Oct. 29.

Ridge BLACK competes in the small varsity division and Ridge GREEN competes in the small varsity non-tumbling division.

Ridge is coached by Dominic Vignali (Head Coach) and assistant coaches Jill Kakalecik and Cassie Raia.
