Ridge High School is going to pilot a full-day phone-free environment during its upcoming semester, which is similar to how it is currently done at William Annin.

"What we know so far is phones will remain off and away during the school day. Though students can keep them in their backpacks for emergency purposes," said Dachnowicz.
