BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ridge High School Principal Drew Krause is resigning at the end of January after serving for two years at the helm. The Bernards Township Board of Education accepted Krause's resignation during its Dec. 16 meeting.

Krause had served as principal since July 2017 and was making $159,555, according to the Department of Education.

Over his past 20 years of experience he had served as a math and social studies teacher, a mathematics and guidance supervisor, assistant principal, district test coordinator, and principal in other districts.

Krause said in a letter to parents he was resigning from Ridge High School to go into the private industry, according to tapinto.net.

His last day as principal will be Jan. 24. The BOE has not hired a new principal to replace him as of yet.

The BOE's reorganization meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at William Annin Middle School.
