Ridge In NJ's Top 100: U.S. News 2020 High School Rankings
See where Ridge High School ranked nationally and in the NJ, according to the 2020 U.S. News & World Report.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — While Ridge High School students continue to learn virtually amid the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. News & World Report has kept up its rankings, finding Basking Ridge as among the top 100 in New Jersey.
"The Best High Schools rankings provide the most comprehensive, data-based information on nearly every public high school in the country," Anita Narayan, managing editor of Education at U.S. News, said in a news release. "Families can use this information to see how their local schools compare on graduation rates and state assessments, as well as academic performance by students who are traditionally underserved — those who are black, Hispanic or from low-income households."
Ridge High School ranked at number 21 in New Jersey and number 472 in the nation.

Somerset County Vocational Technical High School ranked at number 305 in New Jersey and number 9,672 in the nation.
"Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework and exams. The AP participation rate at Ridge High School is 68 percent. The total minority enrollment is 35 percent, and 2 percent of students are economically disadvantaged," according to U.S. News & World Report.

- Mathematics Proficiency - 70%
- Reading Proficiency - 79%
