Ridge Swim Teams Competes At Skyland Conference Championships
On Saturday, the Ridge swim team took part in the Skylands Conference Championships at Montgomery High School.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Ridge High School boys and girls swim teams competed in the Skylands Conference Championships at Montgomery High School on Saturday.
Ridge boys finished in second place and Ridge girls took sixth.
A strong performance from Ridge boys included two conference titles for Garrett Gould in the 100 Free and 100 Back. Gould broke his own school record in the 100 Free.

Mitch Ferraioli took second place in the 200 Free and 100 Fly. Several other boys achieved top-eight finishes.
Gabe Beverini took fifth place in the 100 Breast and sixth in the 200 IM, Kevin Cao took third place in the 100 Breast and fifth in the 100 Free, Orion Wang finished eighth in the 500 Free and Ian D’Silva took fifth place in the 100 Back.

In the relays, the team of Cao, Anurag Bhat, George Chamberlain and Capizzi came fourth in the 200 Free relay and the quartet of Ferraioli, Capizzi, Beverini and Gould took fourth in the 400 Free relay.
In the girls' event, three girls achieved top eight finishes. Giulia Beverini took third place in the 100 back and fifth place in the 50 free, Eszter Kiss came fourth in the 100 Free and the 100 breast and Sammie Oei took seventh place in the 500 Free.
The team of Beverini, Kinga Kiss, Eszter Kiss and Maggie Luo took fourth in the 200 Medley relay and Beverini, Oei, Kinga Kiss and Eszter Kiss came sixth in the 400 Free relay.
