Road Construction Continues In Basking Ridge
Multiple road construction projects will begin Monday and continue through the week.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Multiple road construction projects will begin Monday and continue through the week.
Lurline Drive
Construction on the second section of Lurline Drive begins on Monday and will continue over the next several days in Basking Ridge.
Crews will begin the Full Depth Reclamation on the section of Lurline Drive between #124 and #57, on both sides of the street. This section will be closed daily to all vehicular traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

No vehicular traffic will be allowed on this section of roadway during these hours, with the exception of emergency vehicles if necessary. All on-street parking is also prohibited in this section, and residents should make alternate parking arrangements on the sections of Lurline and Hessian that are not in the process of being reclaimed, Bernards Township announced.
Work on this section is expected to take several days.

The contractor will not move on to the final section of roadway until first making the other sections accessible and available for parking. At the end of each working day, the affected roadway section will be open to traffic but will close again each morning until the process is complete.
Until construction is completed the roadway may have loose gravel, so please use caution while driving.
Byron Drive
Additionally, work on the 2018 Road Improvements will continue on Monday. Crews will be working on curb, sidewalk and curb ramps on Byron Drive and will be working on various storm sewer repairs on Dryden Road. On street parking is prohibited in the work areas.
Beechwood Road and North Brook Avenue
During the week of July 9, all disturbed areas on Beechwood Road and North Brook Avenue will be seeded and restored. Road reconstruction and paving will follow the restoration.
