Roo Is Cranford's Pet Of The Week
Meet Roo! He has been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.
CRANFORD, NJ — Meet Roo! He has been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.
"Roo (pictured probably way more times than necessary) turned one in July. I adopted him from a dog rescue back in late July. Before I adopted him, he had been rescued from a dog hoarding situation in Kentucky.
I immediately knew that Roo was the dog for me because he had an extra dew claw on his back leg. This is important because my prior dog, Sunny, actually had a toe removed two years ago. I took it as a sign from Sunny that I was supposed to meet and adopt Roo.

I lost Sunny to canine lymphoma a few months earlier and it left a huge hole in my heart that Roo has been helping to mend ever since. He is my best friend.
Roo is a great boy, too! He can roll over on command and open doors. Roo enjoys trips to the drive-thru Starbucks, hanging out with his buddies at daycare and trips to Petco to buy treats."
