Santa Clause To Deliver Gifts On A Firetruck

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Santa Clause is coming to town in style — riding on a Liberty Corner Fire Truck.

For a $50 donation per family, Santa Claus (or a firefighter in lieu of Santa Claus) will arrive at your home via a fire truck to deliver a holiday gift (which you provide) to your child(ren).

The fire truck will arrive at the home with its lights and sirens activated. After the truck comes to a complete stop outside your home, each child is encouraged to come to the fire truck to receive his/her gift from Santa (or a firefighter).

The money goes toward the Liberty Corner Fire Company, an all-volunteer organization responsible for raising the majority of their own funding through various events such as this. These funds are used to purchase new fire fighting equipment and maintain our existing equipment and facilities.

To be involved bring a $50 donation, a pre-wrapped gift(s) for each child and the completed form at https://goo.gl/Eqoqml (complete a form for each gift) to the Liberty Corner Firehouse on either Sunday, Dec. 11 between 10 a.m. and noon or Tuesday, December 13 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Each pre-wrapped gift must be labeled with your child’s full name and street address and must have the bottom portion of this form completed and securely fastened to it. You will receive a numbered gift receipt and the approximate time (morning or afternoon) that Santa (or a firefighter) will deliver your gift(s).

All gifts will be delivered on Saturday, December 17. A 3-hour delivery window (morning or afternoon) will be assigned to you when you drop off your gift(s) based upon our preassigned routes. Due to limited resources, the fire department will only be delivering gifts to residents in the fire/rescue territory and will be limiting participation to the first 150 households.
