SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Somerset County Planning Division will conduct a virtual public meeting to hear residents’ feedback about the second phase of the Somerset County Roadway Safety Study. Since the completion of the initial safety analysis, five county roadways have been selected for further analysis to determine what improvements should be implemented.

“This is a chance for residents to give input about how they think the roadways that were selected can be improved,” said Somerset County Freeholder Deputy Director Sara Sooy, planning board liaison. “Their feedback is valued and will definitely be considered during the final evaluation process.”

“Of course, improvements will be made based on a thorough analysis during the study, but we also need to hear from residents,” said Somerset County Freeholder Melonie Marano, public works liaison. “Sometimes, the best suggestions can come from those who travel these roadways every day.”
