Togo is 10 years old and Scout is 7. They have the same grandfather and are both "rejects" by a Sheltie breeder in the Finger Lakes area. Their coloring isn't "show dog perfect" and thus they became available. We could not have been luckier in getting these two balls of love!

When they were younger, Togo was clearly the brains of the operation and made all the decisions for both of them. They have a strong herding instinct and often circle guests and any children who enter our home. We've often remarked that we should get sheep for them to herd!

But as they've aged, our sweet Togo has gone deaf. This has lead to Scout taking the reins or becoming the "alpha". Scout is now their "ears" and often their collective "eyes". We have been fascinated to watch this power shift between them handled seamlessly and with grace.

They travel together now and one never goes anywhere without the other. They are inseparable! We treasure them dearly and the time we have left with our sweet boys. They are simply the best!"
