• $509 Million Garden State Parkway Overhaul To Bring Major Changes To Ocean County Exits (lakewoodalerts.com) — Beachwood drivers face big changes as a $509 million Garden State Parkway overhaul between mileposts 80 and 83 will rework exits and ramps through Beachwood and nearby towns starting in spring 2027. Expect Exit 81 to be eliminated, exits renumbered, new collector-distributor lanes, and major improvements at Exit 80 aimed at easing backups and improving safety.
