Belleville Cops Run Pop-Up Lemonade Stand Amid Heat Wave
It was a welcome break from the heat for Belleville students, who were dismissed from class early on the first and second days of school.
BELLEVILLE, NJ — They’re keeping the community cool, one cup of lemonade at a time.
The community relations unit of the Belleville Police Department hit the streets during last week’s heat wave with a treat for local residents: a pop-up lemonade stand. Officers traveled around town, stopping at different locations to hand out free, ice-cold cups of lemonade.
