A Belleville man was among more than a dozen fatalities that were reported in NJ over Memorial Day weekend, authorities say.

Belleville, NJ – A Belleville man was among more than a dozen fatalities that were reported in the Garden State over Memorial Day weekend, authorities say.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office stated that Luis Davila, 33, of Belleville, died in a multi-car crash in the township on Friday night.
Davila was pronounced dead around 9:40 p.m. at Clara Maass Medical Center, authorities said.

The other driver – a 19-year-old man - and his 21-year-old female passenger were hospitalized for their injuries but were in stable condition as of May 31, NJ.com reported.
No charges have been filed, prosecutors said.
