Belleville, Nutley Schools Closed Tuesday; Snowstorm Looms In Forecast
A Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Belleville and Nutley area.
BELLEVILLE-NUTLEY, NJ — The public school districts in Belleville and Nutley will both be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 13 due to the weather forecast.
Significant changes to this week’s winter storm forecast in New Jersey now include predictions of widespread heavy snowfall, coastal flooding and fierce winds capable of causing power outages, forecasters say.
A Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Belleville and Nutley area until Tuesday afternoon.

The Belleville and Nutley Public School Districts each announced that schools will be closed on Tuesday.
In Nutley, morning and afternoon Extended Day will be canceled. The Nutley High School instrumental concert originally scheduled for Tuesday will be moved to Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. All athletic practices and games will be canceled and rescheduled.
