“I have had the amazing privilege of serving you all on the Board of Education the last two-and-a-half years…and what a ride it has been!

“Because of your support of my colleagues and I, we have been able to deliver on important issues such as special needs education, college prep, and athletic offerings on the Board.

“I cannot say more of how proud & grateful I am to have been able to accomplish such important achievements on behalf of Belleville Families.

“As you all are aware, I have decided not to seek re-election to the Board as I intend on serving our community in new ways, of which I will be announcing very soon.

“Because of this, we need a new voice on the Belleville Board of Education that will both be able to work with those who have already been serving, while also leading the way on some incredibly important issues such as special needs education & bettering advanced, general education offerings, and more!

“Belleville needs someone who is motivated, dedicated, and committed to our school district–and I cannot think of anyone else more qualified than Lissa Missaggia.

“As a lifelong educator and mother, Dr. Missaggia has a track record of educational excellence and community devotion.

“I have gotten to know Lissa over these last few months, and I can truly say she not only has a deep understanding of the issues that are facing our district, but will bring an unparalleled wealth of educational experience and wisdom to the Board as a 30-plus-year educator.

“With an undeniable passion for public education, I know full well that Lissa will follow through on her commitment to ensure that Belleville continues to move forward in a positive direction and will represent the interests of ALL students, staff members, and families.

“I kindly ask that you please support Lissa Missaggia for ONE of your TWO votes for Board of Education Trustee this November 7th.

“Thank you again for the privilege to serve you, and I look forward to seeing you all on the campaign trail this Fall as I campaign for Lissa!”
