BELLEVILLE, NJ — A pair of sisters in Belleville recently gave their own unique tribute to fallen soldiers on the Memorial Day weekend, placing hundreds of U.S. flags throughout their neighborhood.

Selena and Sabrina Kossup have become known for their ongoing “Wave of Positivity” campaign in Belleville, which started in March 2020 during the pandemic. Their effort continued last weekend, when people woke up to see flags on lawns across the neighborhood.

The siblings offered a special thank you to the American Legion Post 105 Belleville, which donated the flags and have supported the “Wave of Positivity” that the Kossups are creating with their random acts of kindness.
