Any ideas for a stormy dark night?

Things to do during a blackout/storm.

Let's face it friends, we will most likely experience a power outage and only God knows for how long! I am praying for a double portion of patience as I anticipate the frequent bursts of "I'm bored, there's nothing to do" from my kids, especially my 15-year-old son (avid gamer and social networker). While there are a number of things I could have found to entertain myself during a blackout in my days, truth is, today's young generation will find themselves lost and even traumatized when they realize the X-box and PC are rendered useless.

Besides digging out those glow sticks from your raving days or last Halloween, can you list another idea for a fun night during the dark stormy days ahead? Here is my contribution:

1. Humdinger Away – Hum tunes to famous songs (better know some new ones. Oldies may just fly over your kids’ heads). Keep score and reward winners with ice-cream. Wait a minute, the fridge will be out! Oh well, maybe nachos and dip.)
