July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near Belleville, Nutley: Where To See A Show

BELLEVILLE-NUTLEY, NJ — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near Belleville and Nutley in 2022.

BELLEVILLE

Belleville Township will hold an Independence Day celebration, including fireworks, on Friday, July 1. A rain date is set for Saturday, July 2.

According to a municipal flier, the festivities kick off at 6 p.m. at Belleville Municipal Stadium. The event will include face painting, clowns, rides, food trucks and DJ music. The fireworks will begin at dusk.

NUTLEY

The Township of Nutley has announced plans for its 2022 Fourth of July celebration, including a fireworks show.

ESSEX COUNTY FIREWORKS/CONCERTS

Essex County's popular, free fireworks and concert series will return for 2022, officials recently announced. Read More: Summer Concert Series Includes 3 Fireworks Shows

The county's annual SummerMusic Concert Series brings a diverse group of musicians and entertainers together to perform at locations throughout the Essex County Park System. There will be three "fireworks spectaculars" held after concerts this year:

• Friday, June 24 (at 7:30 p.m.) - Branch Brook Park in Newark/Belleville. New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, followed by a fireworks spectacular.
• Tuesday, June 28 (at 7:30 p.m.) - Weequahic Park in Newark. Lady Supreme: A Diana Ross Experience, followed by a fireworks spectacular.
• Friday, July 1 (at 7:30 p.m.) - Brookdale Park in Bloomfield/Montclair. The Infernos followed by a fireworks spectacular.

Concerts are held at accessible sites. People who require special accommodations or assistance should call at least two weeks prior to the concert to alert staff as to their needs.
