Nutley Cops Release Photo Of ATM Skimming Suspect

Nutley police officers found a skimming device at the PNC Bank on Franklin Avenue.

Nutley, NJ – Nutley police have released a photo of a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged ATM skimming scheme.

According to a Nutley Police Department advisory issued on Monday:

“This week, police found a skimming device at Nutley’s PNC Bank on Franklin Avenue. The actors placed the device inside the ATM machine that allowed it to read personal information on unsuspecting customers' cards. The memory card on the device saves information and is transposed onto a card using victim’s information. The cards are then either sold or used to purchase $500 gift cards at another location. If you used this ATM please monitor your account for unauthorized activity and contact your bank. The [pictured] person was identified as a suspect. If you have any information regarding this party contact police.”
