Nutley Resident’s Car Repeatedly Vandalized; Police Probe Continues

Nutley PD: "Detectives have been investigating this for several months, with the victim's tires being slashed on multiple occasions."

NUTLEY, NJ — Police have identified a “person of interest” in connection with the repeated vandalism of a Nutley resident’s car, authorities announced Monday.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the criminal mischief has been taking place on Conover Avenue.

“Officers arrived to speak with the victim of criminal mischief, who reported all the driver side tires had been punctured on all their vehicles. Other damage was observed that included smashed eggs on the roofs, and scratches. Detectives have been investigating this for several months, with the victim’s tires being slashed on multiple occasions.”

“A person of interest has been developed and police may be charging them soon,” authorities said.
