Nutley School Board Candidate Forum: 2022 Election

The Nutley Republicans and the Nutley Democrats are teaming up to co-sponsor a public forum for local board of education candidates.

NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley Republicans (Committee and Club) and the Nutley Democrats (Committee and Club) will co-sponsor a public forum for local board of education candidates on Thursday, Oct. 27.

According to an online event post, the forum will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the John Walker Middle School Auditorium. All six candidates have been invited to participate, organizers said.

Nutley residents can provide input to the sponsors and offer questions by contacting Nutleyboeforum@gmail.com.

Janet Canonico, forum coordinator, told TAP Into Nutley that the forum will be an in-person, live event and will not be streamed or recorded. Six candidates are vying for three seats on the school board: Tom D'Elia, Charles W. Kucinski, Theresa Teri Quirk, Emanuel Triggiano, Laura Valente, and Andrea Lynn Podgarsky.
