• Belleville Eminent Domain Battle Continues Over 'Great Lawn' Property (patch.com) — Belleville residents are watching a two-year eminent domain fight over the town's "Great Lawn," a green space at Belleville and Franklin avenues, as it heads back to court next week. The township is seeking to formally acquire the properties at 580 Belleville Avenue and 233 Franklin Avenue for public use, with a Superior Court hearing scheduled for Aug. 28.
