Pro Wrestling Coming to BHS Friday

      On Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 pm, WBHS, the township's public-access station run by Belleville High School students and staff,  will be sponsoring an evening of East Coast Professional Wrestling in the gymnasium at Belleville High School.The high school is located at 100 Passaic Ave.

 The program will feature a 20 Man Battle Royal, in which the winner will wrestle the ECPW Heavyweight Champion, Jeff “The Future” Coleman, later that same evening for the title. The event will also feature a no-holds barred contest between 2 former WWE Superstars as the legendary Chavo Guerrero will face off against “Bad Boy” Nunzio.

Belleville will be well-represented on the evening’s card also as three  township residents will be stepping into the squared circle for action. Among them will be former WWE Superstar Rocky Jones, who will see mat action against the Masked Executioner. The program will also be featuring the ECPW debuts of both Justin Corino and his younger brother, Marc, who just concluded his outstanding amateur wrestling career here at BHS  last year.

Other notable ECPW combatants who will see non-stop action that evening will be Gino “Mr. Italy” Caruso, unpredictable Crazy Ivan, The Creeper, Andrew Anderson and the exciting ECPW Light-Heavyweight Champion, The Merengue Warrior. All the wrestlers will be available for autograph signings as well.

      Tickets can be purchased in advance at either the WBHS Studio at Belleville High School or at Mo Chicken & Deli located at 579 Belleville Ave. (ask for Mike).

Tickets are priced at $12 for general admission or $15 for ringside seating.
      Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the show.  Proceeds from this event will be donated the BHS Class of 2012.
