• Belmar Welcomes New Police Officer to Department (tapinto.net) — Belmar has sworn in Joseph R. DeFeo as a full-time patrolman, strengthening the borough’s police force just as summer crowds arrive. DeFeo, who previously served as a Special Law Enforcement Officer in town, brings familiarity with Belmar’s residents, busy beaches, and boardwalk to his new role.
