• New Press Box Opens at Governor Livingston High School, Uniting Two Communities Around Student Athletes (tapinto.net) — Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights has opened a new press box, funded through a $421,184 capital reserve transfer and celebrated by both Berkeley Heights and Mountainside school leaders. The upgrade improves sound, livestreaming and game-day operations, and comes alongside other district facility projects, with community members already eyeing future football field lights once funding is secured.

• Union County Commissioners Announce 2026 Union County SHERO Honorees (ucnj.org) — Two Berkeley Heights women — Mayor Angie Devanney and resident Michelle Morin — are among this year’s Union County SHERO Award honorees, recognized for their leadership and community impact. The countywide list highlights women from across Union County whose work improves local life, with organizers encouraging residents to learn more about the program and past recipients.
