24 Townhome Development To Go Before Berkeley Zoning Board

BERKELEY, NJ — A three building development consisting of 24 townhouses is set to be heard at the Berkeley Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting this month.

The meeting will be held on May 10 at 6 p.m. at the Berkeley Township Municipal Building.

The development, called "Garden Street," would have two buildings with six townhomes and one building with 12 townhomes, at Mariciel Avenue and 768 Route 9 (QuickChek) in Bayville.

Land proposed for the project is currently vacant, but located directly behind existing homes, according to public property records.

"The LLC," the owners of the land the development would be built on, own several additional parcels throughout Ocean County, including more land in Berkeley, according to public property records.

The LCC is seeking preliminary and final major site plan approval from the Zoning Board.
