Silver Ridge Park North resident Judi Pakay has been named Ocean County's REALTOR of the Year 2012. Each year, the Ocean County Board of Realtors selects one of it's 2000 members as REALTOR of the Year based on humanitarian, community and industry involvement. Judi has been a successful licensed real estate salesperson since 2005 and associated with Century 21 Nifoussi Realty Inc. since 2008. She has been an active and valued member of the OCBR Board of Directors and serves on the Education, Risk Management and Legislative/RPAC Committees and is chairperson of the Adult Community Outreach Committee. Judi served as president/trustee of the Silver Ridge Park North HOA for the past 4 years. She is fluent in American Sign Language and interprets for the deaf in two northern NJ churches. She donates her time to Relay for Life Toms River by raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Judi, Founder of "His Hands for Africa Ministries International", is a Missionary to Kenya, East Africa. Since 1990 she has raised funds for building and operating two medical/dental centers, a hospice center, a homeless children's shelter, five water tanks all located in the drought and famine areas of Kenya. She continues to raise funds for these projects as well as for providing immunizations, mediine and salaries for the doctors/dentists. Recently she started providing goats for milk and cheese and chickens for eggs in these impovished areas. She also has done missionary work in the Phillipines, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, Sudan and Zambia. Because of these accomplishments the Ocean County Board of Realtors has also recommended Judi for New Jersey Association of REALTORS New Jersey REALTOR of the Year 2012 Award.
