Another Person Revived With Narcan Refuses Further Medical Treatment

Berkeley police officers recently revived a an unconscious man who was found lying on the ground between two buildings on Frederick Drive, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele sai.

Patrolman Scott Rudolph, Patrolman D.J. Williams, and Sergeant Jason Malley went to the location on Oct. 8 and found the man, who was not breathing. They administered Narcan and shortly after the man regained consciousness and began breathing on his own, the chief said.

The man then refused a medical transport to Community Medical Center in Toms River, DiMichele said.

Berkeley police recently revived a woman at a Grenada Street home in Holiday City. She also refused further medical treatment.
