Authorities Identify Body Of Elderly Woman Found In Berkeley
Edith Liguori, 91, lived in Holiday City at Berkeley, according to her obituary.

BERKELEY, NJ — Authorities identified a dead, elderly woman found in the woods Saturday in Berkeley. The remains belonged to Edith Liguori, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday.
Berkeley police received a 911 call Saturday after someone found her in the woods along an ATV trail, about 1.5 miles south of Township Line Road. The Ocean County Medical Examiner's Office conducted a post mortem and identified the 91-year-old.
Liguori's cause of death wasn't immediately clear. But the OCPO says her death isn't considered suspicious. Related article: Elderly Woman's Body Found In The Woods In Berkeley

Liguori lived in Holiday City at Berkeley, according to her obituary.
"Edith was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother," her obituary says. "She was an incredible cook with family members and friends coming from all over the area to enjoy her homemade lasagna. Edith was also always impeccably dressed and took great pride in making sure she was always put together. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her."

In lieu of flowers, people can make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
