Bayville Man Who Died In Tappan Zee Accident Loved His Job
Second victim's body recovered, one still missing.

Paul Amon spent his life working on tugboats.
The Bayville man lost his life on Saturday, when the 90-foot tugboat Specialist crashed into a barge near the Tappan Zee Bridge and sank in 40-degree water, according to app.com
He loved his job, his daughter Ericka Amon told the New York Daily News.

"He loved working on the boats," his daughter said. She is a tugboat captain.
The body of one of Amon's co-workers, Timothy Conklin, 29, Westbury, Long Island was recovered later. A third man, Henry Hernandez, 56, Staten Island, is still missing.

A man who answered the door at the home of Amon's daughter told an Asbury Park Press reporter that the family wished to be left alone.
James Mercante, an attorney for the owner of Specialist, said the crew was licensed, competent and experienced personnel.
“It’s a shocking, horrific marine tragedy,” Mercante said. “Right now the company is more concerned with the families of the crew and mourning.”
