Bayville Is One Of NJ's 'Quirkiest Towns,' Report Says
With a dinosaur, a giant champagne bottle and a car on a rooftop, it's clear to see why WorldAtlas called Bayville "quirky."

BERKELEY, NJ — Taking a drive through Bayville reveals unique sights that you aren't likely to find elsewhere. The dinosaur. A giant champagne bottle. A car on a rooftop. These are things that make Bayville, well, Bayville.
And it's these one-of-a-kind attractions that earned Bayville a spot on WorldAtlas's recent list of New Jersey's eight quirkiest towns.
The geography website shared a list of several towns where visitors can find "an interesting mix of the unusual, rare, and downright quirky."

And Bayville definitely has several spots that can be considered quirky.
WorldAtlas, along with the aforementioned sights, also notes Double Trouble as another interesting, as it is technically a ghost town.

Not mentioned, although a good fit, is the Crystal Lake Rehabilitation Center, once the Royal Pines Hotel and previously a sanitarium. And its rumored to have housed Al Capone at one point, though the Berkeley Township Historical Society has indicated that is likely false.
Bayville is certainly a quirky town, and has a storied history beyond what is mentioned here. If you're curious, the Historical Society can offer more information.
