Before the kids return to school, parents should keep these dates in mind.

BERKELEY, NJ — Here are key dates parents should know when kids return from winter break and go back to Berkeley and Central Regional schools.

Berkeley

Jan. 6: Berkeley district students return from winter break.

Jan. 7: the Berkeley district's first board of education meeting of the year, a reorganization meeting. 7 p.m. in the Berkeley Township Elementary School auditorium.

Feb. 14, March 20, May 22, June 16-18: marked as four-hour days on the district calendar. Students also get the usual holidays off — Martin Luther King Day (Jan. 20), Presidents' Day (Feb. 17) and Memorial Day (May 25).

April 10-19: spring break. School resumes April 20.

June 18: last day of school.

Central Regional

Jan. 2: Central Regional students return from winter break.

Jan. 6: the first Board of Education meeting of the year, a reorganization meeting. 7 p.m. in the high school presentation room.

March 20, May 22, June 15-17: marked as half days on the district calendar. Students also get the usual holidays off — Martin Luther King Day (Jan. 20), Presidents' Day (Feb. 17) and Memorial Day (May 25).

April 10-19: spring break. School resumes April 20.

June 18: last day of school.
