“I estimate that over 500 tickets were sold,” Everett said.

But the little boy hasn’t been able to play lately. Trevor was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and is now undergoing chemotherapy for the disease.
Numerous volunteers came to help out on Saturday, including Trevor’s teachers from the Bayville School, Little League volunteers. Berkeley Mayor Carmen F. Amato cooked. Shoprite, Conca Dora, Tony’s Pizze, Bon Apetite, Sensa Via Napoli and others donated food.
Unfortunately, the Kwatkowskis were unable to attend. But they did send a letter of thanks to all who helped with the benefit.
