Berkeley Father Of 3 'Seriously' Hurt In Accident; How To Help
He was injured while crossing the street and airlifted to the hospital. A GoFundMe has been set up to help.
BERKELEY, NJ — Jason Bedell, a father of three, was seriously injured after a vehicle collided with him. A GoFundMe is helping him out.
Bedell is the father of three girls — ages 11, 9 and 7, according to the GoFundMe. He was crossing the street on the way to his daughter's parent-teacher conference during the accident.
He sustained a serious cranial injury and numerous broken bones and organ damage. Bedell was airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical's trauma center. He underwent nine hours of surgery to repair his most serious injuries and will receive additional surgery in the future.

The online fundraiser has received plenty of community support, including from the Berkeley Township School District.
