Berkeley Man Charged In Oh What A Bagel Burglary, 7 Others
Michael Guerino is accused of burglarizing six Route 37 businesses in addition to the bagel shop, police said; more charges are expected.

TOMS RIVER, NJ -- A Berkeley Township man has been arrested in connection with a string of smash-and-grab burglaries earlier this month, including one at Oh What A Bagel on Route 9 in Bayville, Toms River police said Tuesday.
Michael Guerino, 52, of the Silver Ridge section of Berkeley, was arrested Feb. 16, Toms River Police Department spokesman Ralph Stocco said.
Guerino is accused of robbing six Route 37 businesses between Feb. 7 and 14, as well as the burglary of Oh What A Bagel and the B&B Party Store in Lakewood, both of which were burglarized on Feb. 14, Stocco said.

In each burglary, Guerino is accused of smashing the front window to enter the store and then ransacking the business to take cash and valuables, Stocco said.
When Guerino was arrested at his home in connection with the Route 37 burglaries, a search warrant executed at his home resulted in the seizure of property connected to the burglaries, including items that connected him to the bagel shop and party store burglaries, Stocco said.
