BREAKING: Berkeley Area Girl Missing Since Christmas Has Been Found

A missing 15-year-old N.J. girl who disappeared just after Christmas has been found safe.

Barnegat police reported that she was located in Brick nearly a week after she disappeared.

Dessie Machugh left her residence sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, police said.

The juvenile temporarily resides in Robbinsville, and was visiting her family in Barnegat for the holiday when she left, police said.

The juvenile had been entered NCIC as a missing person.
