Central Regional To Hold Baseball Field Ribbon Cutting
The field was made possible through a donation by legendary Central alum Al Leiter.
BERKELEY, NJ — Thanks to a generous donation by alum and retired MLB player Al Leiter, Central Regional High School will be unveiling its redone Varsity Baseball Field in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 12:30 p.m.
Following the ceremony at 1 p.m., Central will be playing Toms River South. All are welcome to attend, Central Regional said.

Central Regional Superintendent Tom Parlapanides previously said at a March 7 Board of Education meeting that he thought the upgraded field was "the nicest field probably in the state of New Jersey."
