Columbus Day Parade, Italian Festival This Weekend In Ocean County

Also, enjoy Halloween fun and fall festivals around Ocean County this weekend.

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — One of Ocean County's favorite events returns this weekend - it's the 32nd annual Columbus Day Parade and Italian Festival in Seaside Heights.

The event celebrating Italian heritage runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with lots of fun planned each day.

There will be live entertainment from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 6, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 7 and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 8.

Oct. 6

Enjoy a Halloween Family Fest at the Lacey Historical Society both Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Oct. 7

Food, live music and more are at the Ocean County Hispanic Heritage Month Fair held at the Jersey Shore BlueClaws Stadium.

The Sixth Annual Shamrocks By The Sea Festival is held in Seaside Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Enjoy the return of the Silverton Volunteer Fire Co. Annual Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Silverton Fire House.

On Saturday and Sunday, sip and eat at the FallFest Food Truck Festival at Laurita Winery.

Also on Saturday and Sunday is the 16th Annual Stafford Township Fall Harvest Festival from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Manahawkin Lake Park.

Oct. 8

Brick Recreation holds their annual Craft and Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Windward Beach Park. It was moved from Saturday to Sunday due to rain.

It's Barktoberfest, so bring your costumed pets for a day of fun at Island Beach State Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Second Annual Car Show is set for Field of Dreams in Toms River, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission costs $25 and all proceeds benefit Field of Dreams.

End the day with the Fall Fireworks Festival from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Riverfront Park in Point Pleasant Boro.
