Cops: Bayville Resident Beat Man In Head With Piece Of Concrete
Incident occurred recently at WOBM pit off Route 9, police chief says.

Berkeley Township police have charged a Bayville man with aggravated assault with a weapon after he beat a man with a concrete block and kicked him in the head, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Detectives arrested Brian Bailey, 20, North Princeton Avenue on November 10 after a three-week-investigation, the chief said.
Police responded to a 911 call at 2 a.m. on Nov. 1 at the pit - a wooded area near Berkeley Avenue - on a report of a disturbance. Patrolman James Mauncele spotted the bloodied victim in the parking lot at 926 Route 9. Further investigation determined that the victim was at a party at the pit when Bailey tried to steal his ATV, DiMichele said.
