Janet L. Geraghty Gilzow Kupecz Of Barnegat Dies At 53

Janet L. Geraghty Gilzow Kupecz, 53, of Barnegat passed away on November 23, 2015 after a valiant fight with leukemia.

Born in Plainfield and raised in Bridgewater, she lived in Bayville for many years before settling to Barnegat. She was employed with the Department of Community Affairs Atrium Staffing as an office manager. She was a true animal lover, she also enjoyed running, dancing to Barry White’s music and most of all she cherished the time spent with her family.

Janet is predeceased by her father Robert M. Geraghty and her first cousin Arthur J. Pollack, Jr.. Surviving are her husband Joseph J. Kupecz; her mother Mary Hann and her husband Alfred; her sister Susan Gleeson and her husband Vincent; her children Thomas E. Gilzow IV and Jessica Gilzow; her stepdaughter Alex Kupecz; her adored grandson Zachery Gilzow; her mother-in-law Lois Kupecz; her niece Krystal Gleeson and nephew Patrick Gleeson, as well as many extended family members and friends.

The viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home before leaving to celebrate an 11a.m. Funeral Mass at Saint Barnabas Church in Bayville.
