Lakewood Woman Stabbed With Steak Knife: Report

Lakewood police are investigating the stabbing of a township woman Tuesday night in an Ocean Avenue apartment.

The woman was stabbed in the chest with a steak knife, according to app.com

Officers responded to the 270 block at 9:30 p.m. on a report of a stabbing, Lt. Steve Allaire said.

Police did not identify the victim, who was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Her condition is unavailable at this time.
