At Least Four Shot At Party In Sports Complex In Lakewood: Report

LAKEWOOD, NJ - Four people who attended a party at the Brook Road Sports Complex in Lakewood had serious injuries, a Lakewood police lieutenant told the Lakewood Scoop.

"I can confirm that we are actively investigating the shooting of four victims who were in attendance at at party...Although the victims have suffered serious injuries, they are not believed to be life-threatening," Detective Lt. Gregory Staffordsmith said.

The Lakewood detective bureau, and the Ocean County Sheriff's Office are investigating, he said.
