BERKELEY, NJ — Welcome to the Aug. 1 edition of Monday Manual, highlighting important and fun events going on this week in Berkeley.

August 3

The annual "Night Out Against Crime" will begin at 5 p.m., followed by two headliners. The police department, first aid squads, fire departments and other public safety agencies will be present, displaying vehicles and equipment. The DARE program will also be there with games and prizes for children.

At 6 p.m. the first headliner, Gerard Esposito, will perform, sharing music from Broadway to Vegas. He will be followed by Jukebox Heroes, chronicling music legends like The Beach Boys, The Beatles and more

August 4

Brenn's Silly Circus comes to John C. Bartlett, Jr. County Park at Berkeley Island at 1 p.m. for the Kid's Summer Spectacular. This event is free and for all ages.

August 6

Learn Pinelands folklore at Pinelands Storytime in Double Trouble State Park, held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
