BERKELEY, NJ — Double Trouble State Park remains closed for the fourth day as officials continue to search for a "potentially rabid" fox.

Double Trouble was first closed Monday evening, after a potentially rabid fox was spotted "behaving erratically" and had "encounters" with park visitors, officials said. Officials did not elaborate on whether the fox had injured visitors or other animals.

Since the first encounters, however, the fox has not been spotted, according to the latest update from state park officials.
