Numerous Theft Charges In One Month For Berkeley Repeat Offender
Joseph Miceli, 67, is accused of stealing lawn ornaments, shoplifting from Rite Aid and more on five separate occasions, police said.

BERKELEY, NJ — A Berkeley man received multiple theft charges on five separate occasions throughout the month of June, police said.
Joseph Miceli, 67, was listed five different times in the Berkeley Township Police Department blotter for June.
On June 3, Miceli was caught on video stealing several lawn ornaments from a neighbor's lawn in the area of Prince Charles Drive, police said. He was charged with theft by unlawful taking and taken to Ocean County Jail, police said.

Next, on June 9 video footage showed Miceli cutting a steel cable and stealing two lawn ornaments in the area of Trent Drive, police said. Miceli was charged with theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief and taken to Ocean County Jail, police said.
Rosato's Pizzeria reported a six-foot sub roll worth $30 was stolen from their delivery drop-off area on June 18, police said. Again, video footage identified Miceli and he was charged with theft of property and contempt, police said. He was taken to Ocean County Jail.

Then, on June 23, Miceli was charged with shoplifting and criminal trespassing after several items totaling $142.81 were stolen from Rite Aid on Mule Road, police said. Again, he was taken to Ocean County Jail.
Finally, police went to Wycombe Court on June 27 for an outstanding arrest warrant, police said. Miceli was taken into custody for a warrant out of Berkeley on multiple theft charges, police said.
